Sigh. How many times do I have to say it ::)

Check for error codes. See the InfoBase for details.

Thats not really enough info for anyone to make a judgement on.. could be one of a thousand things.

Good luck!

I had a similar problem with my T2 a while ago. It turned out to be something stupid as a loose alternator belt. Fixed my problem.

But it still cuts out over 15psi even with the FCD. Hmmm....

Okay, a number of ideas, but have you checked the ignition timing?  And the advances, both vacuum and mechanical.

At one stage my mechanical advance was seized and those were the symptoms.  The experts blamed it on the fuel injection computer.  Had the distributer cap off and noticed no advance movement.

Dismantled the distributer shafts, cleaned them up, greased the springs, reassembled and gave me a tremendous improvement in performance.

Go and check to eliminate this possibility.

Good luck.
