There's been *so* much about suspension on here, need to search through the posts. Meanwhile I found this page on the Jap. site, need to translate it tho : http://www.metalmart.co.jp/yastudio/cit ... orber.html

I've spoken with a guy in NZ who had posted on a forum about lowering a T2, again he said he just used ' Honda Lego ' - as in shocks/springs from other Honda's to lower it by afew inches all round. Pretty much any Suspension place, Good/Racing suspension place can make up shocks for you, Local place here WA Racing Supensions I think, Quoted me $600 to make up Springs Only, as they didn't have anything on file to suit a City. I'm sure if you had $1500-$2000 to play with you could have Shiny new units made up. Also Good 'ol Ddmitry the Russian City dude has posted alot about replacement shocks etc. from the Jazz I believe.

Did anyone get their hands on the $900 inserts?

Hi James, what I failed to point out on that link is the AU$3100 price tag which is far beyond the means of the average punter. I'd be happy to go about half of that, and i reckon most people would be in the same boat.

Wooow I did not see that! That is a lot of cash. Another thing I have come across is d2 suspension sell the strut inserts separately so all we would need to do with those now have lower mounts made. Wouldn't be cheap but wouldn't be $3k

So i decided to stop faffing about and start doing something about my suspension. Starting on the rears, and will then start wrapping my head around getting the fronts sorted too.

Spike that is a mint setup! Finally someone is doing it right, love it. BC make a full kit for a 2nd gen civic now, so my problem got solved by procrastinating. The fronts should be a bolt in for a city, the only thing to check is they might be too short. BC would be able to make them with longer inserts tho, they just use a standard insert.

Thanks for the kind words James, though I have to credit your efforts for some of my inspiration.

The car is in the shop this week being re-aligned, so will be able to comment on the suspension, HD clutch and Mugen LSD all at once!

Well Done Spike.
My T2 is parked up In Western Australia and will be tackling putting it back on the road at the end of the year ,and suspension probably needs help.{the Brakes have just failed]
I see you have Koni inserts but then there is welded stainless pipes/springs in
Will you have detailed drawings /dimensions to pass on or post up later
Thanks in advance
