Gives a rough set of details on each. They seem fairly similar in N/A trim except for displacement (1.6 vs 1.2).
Or was there something in particular you needed to know between them?

Unfortunately i have exhausted all my knowledge of E series honda engines...

I would say there is a fair chance you could make it fit, being of the same era, but i couldn't confirm it for you.
Hopefully one of the other, more experienced people on this forum could shed some light for you (though this place is mostly a ghost town from what i can tell, as opposed to 10 years ago).

Sorry to drag up an old topic...
But does anybody know what came of this?
I'm picturing a 1.6 firebreathing heathen turbo City

Yes the city gearbox bolts up, with the city fly wheel too. You can even bolt the city manifolds on with some work to the head, you have to add a little bit of material and carve out the injector cut outs. There are two kinds of EL motor though, one has the ports in a different order so won't really work. There is also the EK 1800 motor from the 1st gen Prelude that will bolt up to the gearbox but so think they only came in the wrong head config so you would have to make new manifolds.

Sounds like Alex might have the right kind of EL 1600 motor in his 1G Prelude there. Probably a NZ new one. There was also an EP engine which was the CVCC 1600, probably came in the JDM ones.
