gear boxes

Hello, I have a Honda city, I have taken the engine and gear box out, standard ER engine and 5 speed gear box, I am replacing the engine with a EL, the EL has a auto box on it atm, I was hopping the ER 5 speed gear box will fit up to it? can anyone tell me if it will or not. thanks
