Fuel pump replacement + other info needed

Postby gruss » Wed Feb 12, 2014 11:09 am

Hey guys, I need a new fuel pump for my T2. The current one is cactus.
I have read that the VL fuel pumps work okay. But my question is, is there a Bosch or Walbro etc external pump that will work equally as well?

I will eventually be running a boost controller, FCD, exhaust, aftermarket turbo and rising rate FPR.

Also, if anyone has some good info for gasket kits and turbo replacements please PM me so we can have a chat. I'm in the middle of rebuilding my T2.

Thanks guys!

EDIT: need some ideas for a replacement turbo. I'm all ready to buy one and start putting it all back together :D

Apparently using a turbo from a holden rodeo is a relatively simple upgrade and gives you more without being crazy.

There is a thread about it in the infobase.

I have read up on that conversion. But what other options are available that will be close to a straight drop in?
