From the North of France

Hi everyone,

About me : I'm Damien, i live in the North of the France and I work in a design office in Cambrai.
My history car : My father works for Renault, therefore i started with middle of the road car : scenic, twingo, gazoil car (sorry !!)
Only one worth mentionning, a clio 1.6 16v, she was fun...
But one day, I realized i needed a change.
So flicking through the ads, by chance I spotted a beautiful 5G prelude

I was love at first sight : Prelude Year 98, 2.0i, 136 HP, 88000 kms, german origin, with a Motegi kit
I bought her in Metz
I started to research more about this make, and discovered there is a 2.2 vtec185 HP - bigger and more powerful engine...
I wish I had know that !!
Nevertheless, i had no regrets. I loved this car that i sold after 4 years of good and loyal service.
Then I find myself at the same situation as 4 years ago : what will be my next car ?
Finally, I stayed with the Japanese with a little 1992 - MR2 2.0i 160 cc, 97000 kms on the clock, found at 20 kms away.

She was a pleasure to drive but not a car to everyday.
So i put her up for sale without any real conviction :
She sells ? she doesn't ? Do i keep her and tune her ?
I even had 4 BBS RS 5x114.3 in my garage.
And then a middle age guy come to collect her...

So i stay about 1 month looking for a relaible, not to expensive car. I bought a E30 318 IS BMW.

But Honda miss me. Finally i bought a 1985 Civic GT (1.5l , 100HP, EW3)

I drive her every day, it is a great pleasure, it is a perfect daily drive.

Right now, i have just bought a red SB1 - 1976 in great shape and a blue SB2 which need to be reassembled.

On the red, i just think to put BC coilover and a set a rims.

For the blue, like i 'm not sure to have all the parts, i will try to do a fun car, with a City Turbo engine (if i found a complete swap)

Sorry guys for the mistakes and my poor english

As much as I love the City Turbos, your in France & your Dad works for Renault, Shouldn't you be hooning around in a 1985 Renault 5 Turbo II?? That's what I'd be after!

If i had the money, why not, but the price for a Renault 5 turbo II is a bit mad.
I can get a NSX for the same price.
And even here, it is not easy to get one. And to much people have a Renault here...
I prefer ride with a different car like the civic, more uncommon here (due to the quotas during 70's, 80's...)

If you are looking after some Turbo II parts, let me know, i can maybe help you (buy here and send to you)
