hey i need some help ive got a early eb2 civic and now i have decided to drop in a city turbo engine  ;) but i cant seem to find out if it bolts straight up to the standard engine mounts or if they need to be modified mounts does anyone know?

Ive got the T2 engine in my 79 civic. You use the standard city turbo bottom engine mount with a spacer about 3mm thick, for the side engine mount use the standard civic mount, for the rear mount use the standard civic mount but you need to shorten it which is a matter of cutting and rewelding the mount. Use the standard civic drive shafts, gear selector, speedo drive. The harderst part of the conversion is the wiring, for this I used all of the city turbo loom and just soldered the indicators etc to the city loom. The problem is the engine wiring is all mixed in with the body electrics, so see if you can get a wiring diagram. Ill post some pics in the next few weeks so you can have a look.
