HYD2 83 turbo1 repair thread!!

Friend of mine owns HYD2, hes recently run into an issue where it cuts out randomly whilst driving, and then run into starter issues where the starter isnt engaging (ive got a few n/a starters and im hoping they will fit but not sure) car turns over when ya wack the old starter but doesnt start, it tries and sputters like its only firing 1 cylinder, tested spark and is getting spark to all cylinders, have tested the fuel rail and theres plenty of pressure (i have not yet tested the injectors) i have tested compression and looks like rings are definitely shot cyl1 70psi cyl2 90psi cyl3 80psi cyl4 60psi, other than replacing the rings and head gasket is there anything i should look for??

(Edit) i slapped in some oil on cyl4 and pressure bumped up to 100psi
