Hello guys,
brand new here,
Just introducing myself,
I'm Raf form Belgium, 32 years old,
I've always driven Honda,
I still have 2 Accord for the moment, and recently I bought a City (called Jazz in Belgium/Europe)
Not a turbo, just the 1.2 engine, ER1 motorcode with 56hp
Reason why I'm here?
I want to learn more about the turbo version,
and looking if someone can help me with the chassisnumber of a City Turbo model to check with Honda for parts.
Some pics:
How I found it abandonned in a field beginning of September 2014
Few weeks later at home:
You can see, some work to do, but it's a restauration project for me, so me very happy
As car stood still for over a year,
first I started cleaning more parts: (all very dirty)
- asstreys
- a whole bag of trash
- cleaned airfilter wirth K&N products
- these on the wheels (don't know how you cal it in english)
In the meanwhile, I'm checking to get all things in order with customs for the import of this car.
2 weeks ago, on a saturday morning,
with friends I gave the motor a check-up,
runs great (It's Honda motor afterall)
new oil, checked the brakes, checked the underbody,
Conclusion
need some spare parts for the front (already found them, waiting for my pick-up)
Exhaust has a big hole also (already found replacement, waiting for my pick-up)
In the afternoon, my grilfriend and I cleaned all our cars, including the Jazz.
A whole different view allready.
If you like, I'll keep it updated here about the restauration.

Hi Raf Good job!
I see you are looking for aftermarket parts? wheels etc. I've been doing up a Turbo I which you can see/read about here :

There isn't a lot available for these cars, most Genuine Honda aftermarket parts are now 25-30+ yrs old & rare..You can swap out various parts for ones from more modern cars though, like Suzuki Swift Sports 2012 seats can be made to fit nicely, & you can buy Steering Wheel adapter Boss's on Ebay & then fit a different steering wheel etc. Depends what you want to do with you car really.

Thanks antraxx
Last weekend I made a little trip to get some spare parts for the restauration.
Will post a pic tonight.
Also found myself a very nice accessory, a MOTOCOMPO.
Part of the goods:
One question too, anyone experience with aftermarket aluminium radiators? Like this one
Can these be found somewhere for the non turbo version?
Is there radiator for the turbo version and non-turbo version the same?
thanks for the help guys.

Well, I found it in Holland so I made a trip last weekend,
In Europe they go around 2500€ up to .... for one in mint condition,
I paid mine under 2000€ with a bit of work.
Re: rafke
Say that's a Nice bike have to upload some more pics of the motocompo when you can. Mine's still on it's way from Japan in a container.....
Here's ones currently for sale in Jap : http://auctions.search.yahoo.co.jp/sear ... e&slider=0
I've only seen guys get custom aluminium Intercoolers madeup for the Turbo Citys, I guess if you can get a stock unit in alu for cheap & need a new Rad anyways then why not?

Ok I will,
quite a lot for sale DAMMN, here they are very very very very rare.
And Japan is a bit far, and just this via an importer would be to expensive.
Re: rafke
Yeah it's the same here in Australia, I've *never* seen one before in person, when I get mine over it'll probably be the only one in Western Australia :p They are expensive here too...typically $3000 Aus...unless your Turbocab

$3000AUs is almost the price I paid, and for one in mint condition even morge expensive overhere.
Turbocab?
I've found 3-4 for sale in Belgium, yes, in shops, but waaaaayy to expensive...
So my litte trip was worth it.
