Hi all!
Welcome to my build thread!
As a few of you know, the tragic death of the original TURDBO, a T1 beautifully restored by king city and sold to me.
It met its end while parked at a set of traffic lights minding its own business, when it was suddenly and violently struck from behind by a drunk driver who then decided to rub salt into thea wound by reversing out of the wreckage and running away!
Hence the creation of this build thread and the build up of a new and improved TURDBO!

Step one, Stripped her down with the help of Kingcity in my secret workshop hidden somewhere in the Forrest
Then it was out with the Festool sander to take off all of that terrible and badly adhered red!
bit by bit she showing her true colors
took about 6 hours of sanding to get it to this point with plenty more to do next weekend!

Hey spike, the turbinas where off the original TURDBO. The red car I'm building up now I bought a few years ago and daily drove it. I've actually got another turbo two shell as well if you are interested?
Re: turdbo
so the next step was prepping the engine bay and rear floor to apply the truck body liner ( yes you heard right ).
It is a super tough 2K apoxy that is resistant to almost anything! i got the tintable version and added 100mls of Quartz silver so i will be the same color as my eventual top coat
i would load on some more photos but its not letting me atm
