Brendan

I've got a decent broadband service, and could happily burn a dozen or so CDs if there is interest locally. Happy to do so on a "return of favour basis for this community, got a heap of help when I was rebuilding our green beast.

Let me know if this is  a need, and if so I'll get started on download when I'm back home in Adelaide. (In Broome at the moment on skinny dial up, but home is a 1.5 mbps)

You have got to be finding it a "trip"(without a suitcase) to be wandering around the (OLD) country...I'd love the chance to be over there for a few months with time and money to travel around. Could you keep an eye out for a few goodies that Euro Civics had on them that we in the states didn't see? Like the dual sidedrafts of of an 80-84 Triumph Acclaim (Honda Civic with an EN1 motor) I'm just guessing you'd find a few people who would want them. :)

yeh ok i'll keep my eyes out... dont see many old cars here tho... ive only seen one n/a city and no civics older than 83.. but if you keep and eye on google.co.uk and ebay.co.uk etc and you see anything then pm me and i'll see what i can do

EDIT: well i had a look on ebay and they are around, theres three on ebay and one is definately a 1300cc twin carb.. im wondering how many wrecking yards will be stocking these..

Some of the Euro 2ndGens had some other trick pieces as well, such as rear foglamp assemblies that fit in the rear bumber...which is the same as the front bumper, and the "S" models had a rear spoiler...I want one of those as well... and also came with a factory sunroof...cost a fortune to ship that though.  See if you can find a copy of Resto rods magazine at one of the stands to see what some of the rodders are into in the UK, and ......you just have to find a way to visit Stonehenge. Myself, I'd like to spend the night there, if it's allowed. 8)

That IS sad to hear...ruins the ruins to have a noisy road within earshot. Chases away anything that may have been felt otherwise. Goes back to the old "money talks, and what SOME others may think is B.S., walks" :-/
