So this little button...Exactly what is it meant to do?
On my Turbo II it turns on the yellow foggies. On the Turbo I I have a separate switch/circuit for the foggies I put in. Anyways the other night I went for a short drive, and noticed that my speedo wasn't lighting up :
So I pressed the little button, which made no diff to the speedo...When I got home I parked the car, switched her off, and went to lock up & noticed the rear brake lights, number plate lights & front park lights were all still on. The Ign. was def. off. I turned that switch off & all those lights went off...that can't be right?

Re: BUTTON ID
That's the foglight button. Perhaps it also lights up the number plate light etc? I'd say a fuse is blown making your speedo not light up, or maybe a loose wire. Generally lights work with the ignition off eg the headlights, so it makes sense that the lights stayed on with the car off.
Re: BUTTON ID
Ok cheers. I need to get into the dash cluster & suss out the lights & fuel gauge issue. I did checkout all the fuses the other day but clearly need to check again..Wiper one was blowing the moment I turned the key but that was back in Winter last year, need to test it now it's stinking hot & everything is bone dry :p

Not yet mate they're due to arrive within the next 1 and a half weeks. I'll update my build thread once I get them on. I did mean to ask turdbo about that too though because I think he got some as well
Re: BUTTON ID
Yeah found the thread - I've recently made a friend over in Japan via my Facebook City site who's keen to do some Exporting, - do you have your link or more details on the springs?

This is the auction that I won (so it's expired now) but you should still be able to read what they are and all. Not sure if there are any left on yahoo though

the rears won't work as on the AA city they clamp into a "pinch" fitting, just like the fronts. (don't know what its called).
