100km chime/ where is buzzer located?

Postby turbolocodude » Wed Jun 24, 2015 2:12 pm

Hello all you dudes. Several months ago I purchased my dream car: a city turbo 2. Can someone please tell me the location of the 100km chime (buzzer). Today was the first day I really drove the car on the freeway. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Look at the pictures in the post 'Last of the T2 Speedos', here you will see the back of the speedo which you will see the little round buzzers on the top right, you do not need to cut the wires as there are plugs that can just be unplugged but im sure you would have worked that out once you pulled out the speedo.

Thanks lots guys! With all you're help I got rid of that annoying chime. My T2 digital dash looked a little different than in the picture. My buzzer was soldered to a hard circuit board. I traced one end of the buzzer to a yellow wire and cut it. Now no more chime.
